I bought 2 because they were 'right'. One was for my house and the other was part of a basket I'm making for a baby shower gift. So I only used one. I've used it several times on myself and my kids, but it never read our actual temperatures. All were well below 98°. Not to mention that he never took the same temperature on the same person twice. You can do it over and over again in the same spot and get a different temperature each time. Maybe it's the same? I do not know. I also bought good batteries. Instead of garbage inside. I thought maybe that would help, but no. It's like a magic ball 8 in the form of a thermometer. Spring. Lesson learned. Take my advice and buy something more expensive that actually works. Even if it was only one, that's 50% of what I ordered. I gave it 3 stars knowing that the company selling it is not necessarily the manufacturer and that low stars will affect their ability to sell other things on Revain. It's lightweight and easy to use, mine just wasn't accurate.
