It matched my mum's Tuperware mugs she gave us at our first wedding. But apart from the color difference, it was an exact replacement for the original blue caps. And since I used those blue caps until they broke and needed replacing, I suspect it's the same with these caps. I gave it 5 stars overall because you won't find anything better, but make sure they aren't indestructible or wear out. Expect them to last around four years with normal use. If you're the kind of person who uses these containers daily to microwave lunch at work, then expect nine months to a year of use before replacing them.
