Cute and Useful - Kitchen and Dining

These adorable little snails really keep the tea bag label from falling into the cup. They feel a little wobbly when you slide them over the rim of the mug, but once the tea bag string wraps around the bottom of the snail shell, it holds the snail securely to the rim. My family uses them every day and they have had no problem with one slipping off the rim and getting into the mug and hot contents. Conversely, the hole is slightly larger so they can be used as beverage labels on things like wine glasses. To clean these snails, simply place them in the dishwasher's cutlery basket or give them a quick hand wash. They won't stick to beverages or food, they won't stain or stain, they won't smell or retain odors, and they won't deteriorate after constant exposure to heat or cold or cleaning. Oh, and if you don't need all 15 snails to hold your tea bags, they sit nicely on the edges of flower pots. Be careful if you have cats - they will find these snails to be great little toys to frolic around the house. The tongs that come with these augers are a nice bonus. Good for squeezing tea bags, lemon slices, grabbing sugar cubes, serving small meals, picking pickles from a jar, storing in a cookie jar to use instead of hands, and so on. This little set would make a cute gift for a tea lover or just something to put a smile on your face every time you use one of the little guys.
