I use my iPod to connect my entire music collection to my car stereo. My iPod Classic did this perfectly, and since I use my car stereo to navigate my iPod music, the touchscreen is completely irrelevant. I only bought this because my classic iPod is dead and the classics are getting harder and harder to find. With my classic, I could tell him (via the car radio navigation) to play a certain album and he would play it, and when my trip ends and I get back to the car he always picks up where I left off . iPod touch plays my selected album, but not always where I left off, sometimes something else randomly plays. With my classic iPod, I could tell it to "Play All" by a certain artist and it would play each album in order, playing each song in the album in order, but the iPod touch insists that "Play All" means "Random". . Sometimes when I get back in the car it doesn't matter what I was listening to when I stopped, it just decides to play my entire music collection in random order. Apple should know better than to discontinue a product before a successor is operational.
