I measured my past belt size and added a couple inches to allow for breathing room. The belts are so long, they wrap around me to my back belt loop. I would say this is my fault, though. Just be careful in your measuring. The belts are of high quality leather (not vinyl) and very sturdy. These will probably last a lifetime.
