I bought this spray to use on the silk sheets of a suit I am making. I needed a glitter that would stick, be small stains and wouldn't stink around the house. It fits the bill very well! Does the shine come off? Yes and no. Shimmer is actually a very fine dust of glitter in a sticky suspension. Glitter does not crumble when you move the sprayed. However, it rubs off - easily - when you apply pressure. It's actually pretty minimal, although a lot less than I expected. As for the reviews saying it doesn't work on fabric and they used a whole bottle. They must have gotten a bad batch or something because I've been able to spray it on a few fabrics with good results. I love this spray. It gives my suit a beautiful dew effect and I highly recommend it.
