This receiver has many good features for the price, but it's not built to last. All my previous receivers had no problems with a lifespan of 5-10 years. Much more. This one barely lasted 4. The front display died about 3 months ago. It still works, somehow. I lose my HDMI connections. It only shows video but no audio. The other one is buggy and I'm sure it will lose sound soon. Even when it was new I had terrible HDMI handshake issues with almost all of my sources. Worst of all was another Sony product - PS4. Sometimes I had to unplug all my devices to reset it. All in all I wish I had never bought it. This is a fairly expensive device and I expect it to last longer and not have as many issues. I go back to Denon or Yamaha as those brands have quality components.
