Beware of Galaxy SII Bluetooth issues - otherwise a 5 star product

This device is excellent; My phone is not compatible. If you have a Galaxy SII and possibly other Android phones and want to stream Pandora or other digital media from your phone, you'll likely be disappointed. The phone works great for about 10-15 minutes and then completely reboots (turns off then back on) and disables bluetooth. I searched the net for a solution and couldn't find any. However, it has been found that many people with Sony players have faced the same problem. and Galaxy phones. Apart from that: Superior Bluetooth streams with IPOD/IPHONEUSB connection are not read. My SanDisk Sansa PlayerUSB connection doesn't appear to be able to read DRM-protected audiobooks unless played through a compatible device (iPod, etc.). The USB connection reads unprotected iTunes and other media files on the flash drive. Knobs and knobs are too hard to learn. The internal shell of the device gets very hot and the device may shut down due to over temperature - maybe it's just my machine, I'm not sure. Will try to update more after owning it for a while. EDIT - January 29, 2014 - I've had the item for a while and have also replaced my phone. Switched from Sprint Galaxy S2 to T-Mobile Galaxy S2 and Bluetooth issues are gone. I still don't really like the knobs and buttons, but the sound and functionality of the device are still great. I don't use the tray at all because of the heat issue.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Annoying
