Very big in my opinion.
I bought them a size 4 for my 3 year old who normally wears a size 4. I washed and dried them and expected them to shrink but they are huge! Luckily they fit my 5 year old who wears a size 6/7. He loves her! But just know that they are big.

- I really like these thermos because they are true to size and very comfortable for an 8 year old.
Cons
- Looks good but had 2 holes. (I didn't realize until later, so I couldn't send them back.)
