Throughout my years of ultralight camping I've gone through several inflatable pillows, and all have had some deal-breaking shortcomings until I came across this one. It's like the story of the three bears - too small, too hard - but this one is just right. In the past I've always felt compelled to pair my small inflatable with a thermarest compressible pillow, in order to provide adequate softness and loft, but it never quite worked and I had some poor nights sleep out on the trail as a result. This one is large and soft enough to use on its own.I haven't put it through many rigors yet, and may report back after it gets a few more uses, but so far I'm very satisfied and hopefully have bought my last inflatable pillow.
