I liked the idea of having a small escape tool rather than the larger hammer-like ones that are available so I decided to buy this to keep in my car. Upon receipt, I immediately attached the key rings to the tools and tried to see how easily I could pull the blade to cut the seat belt. To be honest I couldn't even move the blade cover. I'll admit I'm not the strongest person, but what if the purpose of this tool is easy escape during an emergency? It would have been useless as I couldn't even draw a blade in the quiet of my own home in perfect health, let alone in a hypothetical panic situation where I too could get hurt. To me, it's a bigger, hammer-like escape tool.
