So far, almost everything that was promised has been kept. I was really impressed with how durable the bucket seems to be. The grip is absolutely unyielding, unlike the last ones I bought from big stores both broke. It feels very balanced in my hand, which I didn't expect. The scoop was big enough to deal with the "concrete blocks" my cat Stormi leaves behind after urinating. These were the killers of my last two shovels: the handles on both broke trying to dig up these lumps. I'm sure some improvements are due to the new large tray I bought around the same time. It's 17 x 28 inches or something similar to replace the smaller box she's been wearing since she was about 8 months old. Now she is 10 and she is a very long cat. In the smaller box, she wrote right in the corner, and the result was, seriously, a brick. The box is now so long that it has room to sit, so to speak. However, this scoop *is* a definite improvement over the ones I've had in the past. And it was actually cheaper than the flimsy ones I bought locally. My only complaint and the reason for only 4 stars is that the rubbish is sifted through the scoop sooo slowly. Particularly annoying, since even the smallest bits of saturated spatula fall through. Strange that I resent the boredom that comes from something NOT quite working for so long. FYI I use a Fresh Step & Tidy Cat mix so you know what type of filler is causing the problem. If you use something else you might not have any problems. Otherwise I give 2 thumbs up!
