I ordered the size for 1-3 years. These socks are SMALL! They are perfect for my 1 year old but will never fit a 2 or 3 year old. These socks are more like size 18-24 months. There are also big size differences in the socks. I photographed 6 pairs of socks straight out of the box so they wouldn't have been washed and shrunk to look like this. You can see that some pairs are very short compared to others. Each pair is individually wrapped. You must destroy the package to get the socks. You can't even check the size of the socks you receive without ripping apart each pack. Socks come in attractive colors and are soft enough for wool. When I think of wool socks, I think of warm winter socks, but they're not very thick. These socks are fine. If you feel like it, you should order the next size up to allow for a slight fit and shrinkage after washing.
