So far I like these coasters. I bought these specifically because I had two issues with my existing coasters (I live in Hawaii and the amount of condensation on the glass is high). (1) All the other coasters didn't soak up the water fast enough and "spilled" onto the table below, causing problems. (ii) other coasters I've had that worked in terms of absorbency tended to "stick" to the bottom of the glass when I lifted it due to compaction from condensed moisture and I could accidentally lift them and then they fell to the ground and breaks. THESE coasters have a natural, slightly rough finish that prevents this from happening. You also look great if you are a "stone" person. My only gripe - and it's not their fault they clearly state the size of the coasters - is that I wish I could get some that were just a tad bigger. They're good for a glass or mug, don't get me wrong, but I'd like something stronger than that. That's my own problem I guess though. All in all, I'm delighted with these.
