I'm a bit disappointed with the uniform lighting on this mouse pad. The lighting around the outlet is excellent. Top and bottom left are fine. But the right, upper right corner and lower right half are dull and discolored. No matter what color, the right side is very matt. Blue is the worst because I have to turn off lights and monitors to see if it's even on. In itself this is not a big deviation, but a discoloration. When I turn it to indigo, the right side becomes dull, seasick, greenish-bluish. When I set it to purple it's a dull peach on the right. Judging by the photos uploaded by others, which look decent, I'm not sure if this is a mistake on my part or if the photos uploaded just make it brighter. That's why I hesitate to exchange this product. I'm not sure if it should look like this. I really wanted to rate this higher because it's a really cool concept, but I can't get over my disappointment at how unevenly lit and discolored it looks on the other side of the power supply.
