Review on Colorful Style Meets Premium Sound: Green Tweedz Braided Headphones with Green, Yellow, and Black Nylon Fabric Wrapped Earbuds by Tyler Hager

Cable broke after 2 weeks of use. As great as they sound, they are NOT DURABLE

I wear headphones to work every day so I use tons of headphones. I was looking for a durable one that would last longer so I didn't have to buy new pairs. I bought Tweedz headphones on 09/07/2017 and on 09/21/2017 there is no sound from either headphone. They are short lived! Part of the blame for this lies in the packaging, which is made of hard-to-open plastic, which causes the end of the cable with the plug to bend 90 degrees. The cable is bent in such a way that it hasn't moved out of the L shape after 2 weeks of use (it's not an L connector, it should be perfectly straight). I know this is a problem because if I straighten the connector I can get both headphones to work. The packaging is so poor that I nearly ripped off the earbud trying to pry off the plastic (there's no safe place to use scissors without cutting the earbuds). They are also very annoying to use. They try to make them strong by "weaving" the cord in some way. Unfortunately, this causes the taut cord to twist on its own, which then shortens the length of the cord and rips the earbuds out of my ear when my phone is in my pocket. To be honest they were never tied in a knot even when stuffed in a bag. This outweighs the fact that twisting is so common that I end up spending a lot more time untangling than I've ever done with other knotted earbuds. A shame considering they look great and sound fantastic for the price too. It seems like they made great headphones on paper but never bothered to test them.
