This pillow insert is just...weird. On the outside, it's a paper-thin white material that can be torn apart with a little force. Feels like a used dryer. Inside this strange fabric is only padding that you can see as the material is transparent. It's quite thin, but you should always choose the size of your pillow insert (if it's 18x18, get a 20x20 insert, etc.), it's not too bad anyway.
