Review on πŸ’‘ Ultra Thin Recessed Downlight with Improved Stability: Eliminating Flickering Issues by James Nedumaran

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bright, easy to install, inexpensive and durable

Failed to load media. Amazingly thin, bright, easily color adjustable and easy to install. Drart downlight is a superb piece of LED technology. Requires very little space above the plasterboard ceiling. It does NOT require a traditional junction box or built-in canister. In fact, it can't be installed with them, so it's a win-win situation that saves you money. These downlights are energy saving, only 12W LED downlight is equivalent to 100W halogen light. Provides 950lm brightness, approximately 80 lumens per watt. Save 85% bill. Instant start with no warm-up time. Lifetime 35,000 hours. That means 13 years with 8 hours of use per day. Decrease the reload frequency. The LED light itself is only 1/2 inch thick. The two spring clips are 1" high. So you only need enough space for the junction box, which is about 1.5" thick, 2.5" long, 4 pcs." wide. The light is very bright and clear. Compatible with dimmer to control brightness. No tools required other than cutting a hole in the ceiling. IC junction box with pluggable cable connectors. Two holes for J-Box access. And fix it to the ceiling with a spring clip, no problem. Put the socket in the ceiling, open the spring clips and push in the light. Finished! very clean look. Even cleaner than your typical hi-hat. Especially good when you don't want the light to draw attention, e.g. B. in modern, contemporary or even transitional interiors. Worth the price! Will add more of the same.
