Review on Nanuk Waterproof Hard Case Insert Camera & Photo and Bags & Cases by Colleen Vazquez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Robust and reliable

I haven't been too aggressive with this case, but I have other Nanuk cases that have proven reliable (I have a Nanuk case for my DJI Phantom (which I tested through TSA earlier. If it can stand up to TSA and baggage handling, it's quite stiff.) This suitcase is very roomy, very deep, including two layers of thick foam. The lid also includes a few extra inches for slightly larger items. It's just perfect for storing what I bought in it. I'll end up cutting out the foam for the item I have instead of using squares to drag and drop. The rubberized handle is comfortable when you need to carry it over long distances. I'm not a big fan of zippers, but that doesn't bother me in any way. The reason I don't like them is that if you have a bulkier item in the case the lid can be pushed up so far that when you release the latch you still have to push the lid for the latch to open actually solves. Lid. This is just a minor annoyance, as after opening the latches, an extra step is required to actually open the case. All in all, Nanuk offers a great product at a competitive price. I'm sure this won't be the last Nanuk product I buy.
