Good buy and just what I needed

Okay so that was for the odd spot at the bottom of the floor to ceiling built in narrow linen closet. The original bottom shelf is about 20 inches off the floor and this leaves a lot of dead space when placing items directly on the cabinet bottom. The case also opens significantly to the right as you step through the 18-inch case opening. Strange shape and difficult to work with. Here is the shelf. First let me say the plastic shelves seem a bit cheap but they are not rated to cast 20lb rods on them so this is not a huge factor for me. If necessary, they slide more easily. The extension rods that make up the shelf supports are remarkably strong. Think stretch cornice, but stronger. The setup itself wasn't bad (I had it because of the weird angle I had to work from); Extend the shelf to your desired length, secure the two outer bars by flipping the small lock on the middle bar, then fine-tune the tension on each of the outer bars to ensure a tight fit. I think the price would be more reasonable at $10-12 due to the materials used. I paid about $17 because I bought what Revain called "used" even though it was new and sealed (they said the packaging was damaged, mine wasn't). Factory price is $18-21. I think it's a little high. That being said, if you're in the same position as me and have an odd filling space that's difficult to maneuver, or just don't have the tools, materials, or time to add a shelf yourself, this is a solid choice. . Despite the price, I give it 5 stars because it perfectly meets my needs.
