The plate melted after I cooked a bag of popcorn on it. So don't warm up. I then doused him with cold water. I still like the colors and light properties of the plates, so I will continue to use them, but unfortunately I also need new bowls because they are made of the same material. It's impractical for me who wanted this to be my only set of dishes, but if you like variety and can't put them in the microwave I think they're still good. Now I'm going to pour said bag of popcorn into one of the other bowls. Also, the plates have a frisbee-like edge, making them look like flat bowls. I love it!
