When I got my Playstation Classic I knew I wanted a case for it just like the ones I got for my NES and SNES Classic consoles. Unfortunately, due to the fact that the PSC wasn't as popular as the Nintendo consoles, not many cases were made for it and there wasn't an obvious choice. The RDS cases for NESC and SNESC were an easy choice for these consoles as they are very durable, well made, go with everything and have the official logos. RDS didn't advocate for PSC so I had to look elsewhere. I chose this case as it appears to be the only one with external branding. All the other cases I've seen have the same look and feel, but at least this one has a Playstation theme on top. I like this motif very much and makes the body easily recognizable. Inside there are console slots, 2 controllers and a pocket on top to store everything else. The bag is large enough to hold everything you need, like an HDMI cable, power cord and brick, USB extender if you have one, and an OTG adapter in case you hacked your console. Everything packs neatly and the slots are lined with fibers to keep your belongings from getting scratched. There is no soft foam so you don't have to worry about it deteriorating over time. Now for the cons. The case isn't as rigid as we'd like it to be. Unlike the RDS case, which is difficult to deform when squeezed, this case is fairly easy to deform. It's actually so easy that my suitcase ended up getting a bit lumpy and wrinkled in the back. My guess is that it was stored in a way that put pressure on the back and caused those dents. It's not a deal breaker as I think I can fix those dents and still keep my stuff safe inside but it's disappointing compared to other cases like RDS cases. Another problem is insufficient quality control. Steam. You can take a risk when ordering a suitcase as I believe they are shipped from China. Where the seam and the lining end, I have fibers and threads sticking out. There's nothing I can't correct myself, but it's a sign that there can be some differences in how imperfections are perceived. But who knows what kind of material is in it and how long it will last over time. Just be aware that you may be at risk. Overall this case gets the job done and the Playstation theme on top is cool but a disappointment compared to other classic console mini cases. Try not to overpay for one because with RDS setting the bar high at $20, it should be significantly less.
