The blanket arrived quickly, and took it to the beach for a day trip with the kids. Lightweight and easy to carry in its bag with strap - well made, sturdy buckle. The four metal stakes worked well. The zipper pocket on the corner was a great place to hide the car keys, etc. The water beaded up on the fabric; although, it did seem to absorb some of the moisture if it was left to pool for a bit, but it dried very quickly. The sand just fell off. It folded nicely into the attached bag (that you can t lose). Very large; the four of us had more than adequate personal space! Nice colors. I was concerned about a certain reflective quality/shine that seemed to come through on the website photos, was afraid it might be a bit "glitzy”, but it is tasteful - for lack of a better word. Very happy with my purchase! Machine wash cold, air dry. (Sorry, not stellar photos - of the blanket)
