Treasures by Gillette Venus: convenient to hold and use; Perfect for on the go

The Gillette Venus has been my favorite razor for years, but the high price motivated me to try the Dollar Shave Club. The 5 blade DSC razor was a good deal but I kept cutting myself because their razors aren't made for women. I ended up switching to a female-friendly subscription service and I'm fine with that, but it's not that convenient for travel. I don't want to risk leaving a reusable pen at the hotel or having to change shaving heads just to put one in a case. I find it much easier to use a disposable travel razor. So I'm going back to Gillette Venus again! Gillette really knows how to make a ladies' razor with a slightly rounded head, protective pads above and below the blades, and a moisture strip across the top blade so you can shave in the shower without separate shaving foam. The handle is comfortably shaped and has a textured area just behind the razor head, so you can rest your finger to guide the blade and not worry about the razor slipping out of your slippery, wet hands. The handles on these Venus Treasures also have many interesting patterns, and each razor comes with a blade sheath so you can pack it up without worrying about tearing your bag or dulling your blades. Blade razors are more suited to subscription services, I would probably still use Venus as my everyday razor. But now I plan to always have a pack of Venus Travel Disposable Razors on hand. So if you're looking for a handy travel razor, or prefer to buy razors on demand (rather than signing up for a recurring subscription), I highly recommend Gillette Venus Treasures!
