Good hat for the price. It offers excellent sun protection without being too hot to wear. The ponytail hole is definitely a plus. I often fight with hats. Some are too hot, some don't go well with a ponytail, the visor doesn't protect my scalp, some get blown away by the wind. This hat solves many of those problems. It also folds well into a suitcase and beach bag. I would like to warn you that the item I received had a full lock on one side only. On the other side was only part of the bolt. It was awkward. Under normal circumstances I would send it back. However, I needed it immediately for a trip to the beach, so I just put it on as is. Now I will use it as a hat for gardening/gardening. If you have a hat with snaps (or even without snaps), this is a good hat.
