Please read MY recent review, NOT 5 STARS

I thought "Gainer 1340" was just a cool name for a protein powder. I felt silly when I realized there were so many calories in 4 full servings of this product. which is a lot. And that's good. That means this thing has to be loaded with carbs and protein, right? Well, not really the case. Comparing this product to my previous weight gainer that had run out, I was surprised that this powder has over twice the calories but still less carbs AND PROTEIN than my previous powder! The question is where are all those calories coming from? Judging by the taste, it's probably sugar. It is a very sweet drink that tastes quite pleasant compared to most other foods. It has a bit of an artificial taste, but overall it ran smoothly. Also the amount of vitamin D in this powder is insanely low compared to my previous powder. This powder screams cheap bulking protein powder to me. I would not recommend this product at all unless you are really trying to gain weight and want a tasty high calorie protein powder. Shovel sizes are a little larger than average, but doable. It's also important to note that this product contains 4 grams of creatine monohydrate, so if you're at all worried about the side effect of hair loss in men from taking creatine. I would stay away from any protein powders that contain it. Overall, this is just a cheap, low carb, low protein weight gainer compared to other lower calorie weight gainers. It tastes good and is high in calories. So if you're in dire need of calories in your diet, be sure to stock up on these cheap meal replacements. However, if you are looking for a product with a decent calorie count and good carb to protein ratio, look elsewhere. That doesn't match what I'm looking for. This is my REAL opinion. no BS
