This was supposed to bring some sparkle to the birthday table and it did - it looked more shimmering than in the photo. At the same time, the pattern on the tablecloth was clearly visible, since the trace is very thin. Another problem is that the glitter fell out of the packaging. I hand washed it after it had cake frosting on it so I could reuse it which resulted in a bunch more glitter falling off. A few days later I'm still finding tiny sparkles all over the house. After that it still looked more or less normal and the fabric didn't wrinkle, but I wouldn't machine wash and dry it. a table with a white or light pastel tablecloth. It adds a bit of sparkle, and for the relatively low price, it feels like it's worth it. It's definitely not something you'll pass down to your grandkids, but it serves the purpose. A test chart was also included for all other colors and darker colors seemed less noticeable.
