I bought this table to draw what it does in my chair. It fits perfectly between the armrests of the chair. The table is stable and I really enjoy using it. The downside of the table is that I use it in a chair and it naturally tilts towards me. I have tried to fix this by making the part of the table furthest from me lower than the part closest to me and the table can only lay flat or lean towards you and not from to you. Note. It is not a left table when using a mouse. You can't move the thing to prevent the mouse from sliding to the right. I didn't give 5 stars because I can't use it for my computer and mouse. Otherwise a great product that I would definitely recommend.
