Review on Movie Projector Outdoor Supported Display by Rene Putman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This is a good place to start trying out a projector if you have a really dark room.

This is a really good projector if you want to check if projectors will work for you. The reason I say this is because you get what you pay for, which isn't too bad; I'll even go so far as to say that you get a little more than you pay for, but it still has its limitations. The projector is small, making it convenient to take with you. maybe camping etc. It has a nice easy to use menu. HDMI connections worked well. We were able to output audio from the headphone jack to the soundbar via RCA cables (red/white). At 1080p it worked great. But it has to be DARK. This projector is actually only able to display an image in complete darkness. If you want to see clearly. I tested it for a couple of nights and at sunset we still couldn't make out the image. Only moving forms. When the last light came on (after about 30-35 minutes) we could easily see the screen and it worked fine. However, dark films are still darker than they should be. But it works. In comparison we loved the idea of a projector so much I bought one for 4 times the price of this one and you can see what you are seeing before the sun goes down and enjoy it easily long before it gets dark becomes. But it also costs 4 times more than this. This is a great projector for camping, tree house nights, a dark basement for kids, or even a dark bedroom for them. It's small, easy to control and looks great in the dark. Just don't expect it to be really nice when you turn on the light or try to use it during the day without blackout curtains. It is said that I would still recommend it for the purposes I have mentioned, but not for more. serious.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Without automatic controls
