It didn't make sense to me but the outlets didn't work. I checked the wiring and polarity with a meter and both outlets got 12v. I had another set from another brand that I will put on the bike. They worked. I'm stuck with a LARGE hole and screw holes that I can't close with any other style of load center. So I had to buy another brand of USB and cigarette lighter ports, which luckily fit the middle charging frame. They work great but I had to pay an extra $16 and couldn't return the Diamond Group set because I had to use the frame assembly.
