They had such great reviews on CNET, so I chose Sol Republic. They look beautiful and sound good. My low score is due to the neck strap and the sound. The neck strap is too short. After it first dropped I looked at mine and assumed they should adjust since they looked like the perfect length in their promotional videos but there is no adjustment. Bought these for work to replace my dying LG. So far in the two days I've had them they've fallen 7 or 8 times and I'm at the computer all day. I'm sure if the neck was a little longer there wouldn't be this problem at all. I also noticed the noise. The volume at the transition from silent to the first setting is significant. If you're looking for something that plays music quietly, this isn't the right choice. Overall, the sound is pleasant and full. I don't have heavy bass as some have mentioned. The good thing is that they are so light, soft and comfortable. When they didn't fall off, I forgot I had them because you hardly felt them. If a few changes are made to the product, I think Sol Republic will be the overall winner.
