Better than the one bought at the medical supply store many years ago. NO NIGHT OF ABSORPTION OR STUNNING YET. I've been using them for 3 weeks now. However, my thumb and palm hurt sometimes. I think it has to do with the nature of the versatile left-right design and also because it immobilizes your arm so damn well that nothing moves at night and it just hurts not to move. So, it works GREAT! The only point of criticism: The fabric in the palm area is pleasantly padded and plush, but a bit scratchy. Just a minor thing, but I wish it felt softer. It has the odd feel of high-tech plastic. The woman says she doesn't care. I'm really not complaining! ;) NOTE ABOUT WRIST SIZE: If you have very thick forearms, they may be too tight. I measured my wrist at the thinnest point and it was 6 or 7 inches. My forearms aren't that big and the fit is pretty snug. At this point it can be adjusted with one of the Velcro straps, but if you want it to attach securely as intended you will need a larger size.
