My husband needed a new pair of water shoes and if they were the right size they could be washed in the car, worn out, going to the pool or beach etc. They don't have any supportive insoles so they are not perfect for wet hiking, beach running or any other supportive Activities. What I like about these shoes: - The outsole has a good grip on the bottom of the shoe with a decent tread pattern with uneven texture - Durable outsole - There are bumps for each toe so they mold well to the shape of the foot. - The upper is made of breathable stretch mesh nylon that dries quickly. The fabric also rises high around the ankle and wraps tightly to keep mud/sand out of the shoe. The shoes have a convenient quick release buckle that allows you to easily adjust them, but you can also wear shoes. Easy to put on and take off, no adjustment required. These shoes are light. What I don't like so much: - They turn out half a size or a whole size bigger. I definitely recommend ordering at least half a size smaller. We are very disappointed that they will not fit my husband - maybe my teenager will grow up with them. - Blue color with contrasting blue border is striking - I would prefer black that doesn't flash with crazy colors. - There are 12 very small drainage holes, so they need some time to discharge water. The insoles provide no cushioning or arch support (typical of most types of water shoes). Overall, my husband would be a lot happier with a half size smaller and a different color. Because he doesn't want to wear it :(
