I bought these as a sample to see if my dog liked it AND if her poop improved! Also, I was tired of lugging around 20 bags of dog food (I gave up 40 bags a long time ago). So I tried this amazingly light freeze dried food. My dog was a bit spoiled because I mixed a small amount of wet food into his dry food. I tried adding some warm water and that didn't work for her so I stopped doing that. Now she likes it while I'm being treated. I also bought Honest Kitchen Toppers to see if that helps. She loves it. I give her a nugget as a "biscuit" before giving her a main meal bowl and some toppers. It seems to help "stimulate the pump" and get her to eat. And how is her poop? Thanks for the question :-). Maybe a LITTLE heavier. But I was hoping to see less volume - maybe a LITTLE less. A little. Less droppings usually means less fillers in the feed and that it absorbs more of the essential nutrients from the feed. Their old food was grain free and not bad food but I'm a bit let down by this issue. But I LOVE that I can buy a 5# bag that lasts a month for my 20# dog!
