Excellent quality insulated coffee mug. I put coffee in it the other day and forgot about it for a few minutes. Then, as I touched it, I thought for a split second that it was too cold to pour my coffee in yet. But when I went to drink from it, the coffee was still very hot. This is just a small demonstration of how well this thing insulates. Be careful not to use the outside temperature as an indication of the inside temperature! But that's what it's designed for, and it does it well. I drink coffee in the morning at work and the coffee never gets cold. Keep in mind I've only used this for hot stuff so I'm not sure how cold stuff will hold up. Additionally, the bottom of the bin is covered in a grippy silicone/rubber material that makes accidental tipping more difficult as it grabs the counter you set it on, which is a nice plus. This mug also has a nice handle on the lid that rests on the lid when not in use (nice touch, see picture). Overall I think this is a great cup. The only downside I had, which was very minor, was that this item is not dishwasher safe (at least it is labeled as such). I didn't try washing dishes for this reason. If it could be washed in the dishwasher it would add extra convenience. But then again, if you're an avid coffee drinker, you can still hand wash it as you'll probably use it every day, if not multiple times a day. Overall this is a great travel mug with a secure lid and functional insulation that I would recommend.
