I bought this to light up a dark hallway. They give off a nice warm light that when placed under the eyes is not too bright but bright enough to get the job done. They seem to differ in sensitivity but it may simply be that the angle of approach to one of the sensors is more optimal than the other depending on how I've offset them and their view is better seen in the bottom corner, as a person enters from below. . They turn on in turn as I walk by. They don't turn on when the hall light is on. You stay exactly as long as necessary. I wish they were lower or angled so the shadow the case casts against the wall doesn't increase with distance from the floor, but they do what I want without too much fuss. Installation went smoothly. I decided on a small ball of blue poster nail and glued it to the back just to get an idea of how they would feel before installing them with the hardware that came with them, but I liked how it worked and they did are light enough that I didn't think about reinstalling them. I walk past it 20-30 times a day and my family adds an average of 15-20 more activations and I haven't had to change batteries yet. They have been installed for 40 days so far.
