Before purchasing this set I used wax strips to go which didn't always remove wax from the hair and took a long time to heat up. In comparison, this kit was perfect. The wax will heat up a bit, but once it's ready, apply the warm wax to the prepared skin using one of MANY wax applicators, wait a few seconds for it to set, and quickly tear off the strip. When epilating legs or face, I can honestly say that it doesn't hurt at all. Obviously waxing is painful, ha ha, but of all the types of waxes included in this kit, just choose the more delicate one and it will definitely help. This wax kit comes with a wax warmer (with multiple temperature settings), a variety of large and small application pens, 5 packs of wax balls and an oil spray after waxing. Overall 10/10 I recommend this wax kit. .
