Durable materials (glass and metal). However, the four holes drilled in the vertical support beams/posts (two at the top and two at the bottom) are too big for the screws. This creates too much play when attaching the two L-brackets at the top and bottom of the vertical support beam/stand. As a result, it's nearly impossible to align the TV on the stand once it's fully assembled without dismantling the entire frame, including adjusting the two vertical brackets (bracket with holes pictured) that attach directly to the back of the TV. Also, the vertical cylindrical rods that hold the two horizontal brackets together (unless machined properly like mine) create a torque on the entire frame (attached to the vertical support post/post) that throws the frame out of square and further leveling issues caused. As if that wasn't enough, once I managed to get the TV stand almost level (relative to the bottom edge of the TV) I noticed that the entire TV was tilted slightly forward from top to bottom). In other words, the TV tilts about 10 degrees from the top. Was it intentional? I do not know. Thankfully, the glass base feels heavy enough and the vertical support post is far enough from the base to offset the apparent tilt. Finally, the small thumbscrews that attach the TV to the stand's horizontal bottom bracket seem totally inadequate to hold the TV on the heavy stand. Although in the future it will be easy to remove the TV from the stand as these set screws are very fragile, the weight of the TV along with the stand causes a real problem that the stand comes off the TV mount when moving the TV and stand slips . as a unit, even if future relocation involves cleaning the TV and/or stand. My TV is an LG 37LK450 with the following specifications: W 35.9" x D 10.4" x H 25.2" and W 28.66 lbs. have been properly processed. Maybe I can find a way to adjust this stand so it's more level - right to left and top to bottom - and easier to maintain, move and clean. In the meantime, I warn my family and guests of the inconvenience and danger this booth poses. I do not recommend this stand for 37 inch TVs.
