As good as orthopedic
I bought this after we found out my son's X-ray showed a small broken buckle. He wore it to an orthopedic appointment, and the doctor said they would give kids just that as an alternative to a cast. My 12 year old son was able to wear it in place of a cast for three weeks. It healed completely and his control x-ray showed no fracture.
