I've read in several reviews that their cats tear corrugated easily and scratch the surface and it's true. We only have one cat who is interested and within an hour has already made a number on the box. Although he really liked it. However, as my other half noticed, he sits on almost the entire surface of the scratching post (I call it that even though it's not a scratching post because I don't know the right word) and scratching at a tiny concentrated spot along the top curve. It would be nice to reinforce this part of the design. Another reason I can't give this book 5 stars is that it's too cool. Our cats weigh 14.5 pounds. If Frodo (who likes it) stands anywhere other than in the middle, he falls over. Like this. When it reaches forward to scratch, it gets off center and has to support itself on its hind legs. He rarely used it after the first two days. From time to time he'll jump onto the board and scratch, but quickly walk away when he falls over. For lighter cats, tipping shouldn't be a problem. Don't know if there are fillers but if so it has to be taken apart to be filled which is a bit of a hassle. It's better if the company can find a way to "hook it in", attaching the velcro or something.
