Review on jane iredale Enlighten Plus Under-Eye Concealer: Brightening & Depuffing, Lightweight Full Coverage with SPF - Smooths Skin Texture, Correcting Fine Lines by Andrea Beavers

I'm the type of person who doesn't mind spending a lot of money on expensive cosmetics and skin care products if they work well. I've heard good things about Jane Iredale products but have never tried anything from this brand. So I was really excited to try this concealer. Unfortunately this is not my favorite. Firstly, I love beautiful packaging and this one didn't fit in my opinion. The metal applicator and slip-on dispenser are massive and you can see it move awkwardly when you try to press on it to squeeze out the product. But the biggest disappointment was the concealer itself. It's bold, but not in a good way. It also doesn't mix very well and I've tried it with all application methods and had the same problem with all of them no matter how much or how little product I used. It also lays on my fine lines, which surprised me since thicker concealers don't usually do that to me. And to top it off, no matter what I did, it looked matte and didn't have any brightening effect either. Unfortunately this is not for me. But I won't blame the brand as not all brands have and miss products!
