Review on K75575WW: Kensington Ergonomic Vertical Wireless Mouse with Improved SEO by Jay Huang

Great mouse if you don't get fake

If this mouse works, it works very well. It has a smooth ride and good tracking, and the buttons respond to moderate pressure. But it has two problematic issues, one small and one big. A small problem is that the laser shines through the hole around the scroll wheel and is reflected on the monitor. Depending on the position of the mouse and the current image on the monitor, this may not be noticeable or may be a little annoying. Then there's the automatic double-click feature (I'm being sarcastic. This is NOT a feature). This is when I click on something and the mouse responds twice in quick succession. So, for example, when I click a drop-down list, the mouse automatically clicks a second time and selects the item in the list. This rarely happens with the left button, but more than half the time with the right button. So when you right-click on a hyperlink, the "Open link in new tab" option is often automatically selected. I usually assume that I just received a defective product. It happens. But the same problem occurs with the Kensington Orbit trackball. I made this (erroneous) assumption about a trackball and bought a second one. He had the same problem. I think I'm being too gullible because at the time I assumed it was just an Orbit and made the mistake of buying this mouse. nope That's a mouse too. I'm done with Kensington mice and trackballs. And I will probably never buy a Kensington product that has a switch.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
