I understand why many reviewers say the packaging is damaged. It is so fragile that despite being wrapped in bubble wrap, any pressure on the shipping sleeve can damage it. In my case, the problem wasn't shipping damage, it was poor quality control. One end of the box ripped off due to insufficient glue. The latch on the front of the box is far from center, making it look crooked. The strip of fabric that holds the lid above vertical when open is too long, causing the lid to open fully and be pressed against the back. In a word, the box is made of very cheap materials and the quality control was poor. Better buy the product with a cloth pouch than this boxed version.
