There is no quality control. No one.
I returned the first backpack because of the poor design of the outer side pockets. They sent a replacement that was sewn worse than the first. The leather is thick and of course difficult to manipulate to sew on two side pockets, but a person experienced with this type of leather will probably do a better job. I returned the second backpack. I craved this for months before pulling the trigger, so this is disappointing. A quality control would help to solve the problem.
