Review on Daisy 205 Ballet Shoe by Capezio for Toddlers and Little Kids by Christopher Cortez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good buy if you know what size to take

My young daughter loves to dance at our house and since I grew up dancing I wanted to give her her first pair of capezios. She loves her very much! The Capezio website recommends starting with shoes that are 1-1.5 sizes larger than street shoes. I chose to go two sizes up as she would wear them with thin socks and to give her room to grow and they fit well in tights too. (She is normally a 5.5 year old baby and I bought her for a 7.5 year old baby.) When she starts ballet class I will put her in ballet shoes, but since they are only in the house for fun I have i decided to give it a try. When shopping for a pair of these sneakers, you definitely want to choose your street shoe size. Daisy is also great as you can adjust the elastic drawstring for a better fit.

Pros
  • Versatile footwear for ballet, jazz and contemporary activities.
Cons
  • May not be as well known or respected as other dance shoe brands.
