I have mixed feelings about these items. I love the pictures of hedgehogs/foxes (bought two bowls) but their weight/feel is not what I expected at all. I feel like I have to be extra careful with them. They are beautiful colors and images are clear. I think I expected more weight from them based on the company's reputation. They make me smile when I look at them. I assume so. UPDATE 12/31/14: Since my review on December 18, 2014, the fox bowl has developed a crack in the bottom of the bowl. It has only been used to leaven (prove dough in a warm place) and hand washed. Aside from the extra care, it is now designed for the display shelf. Unfortunately I have exceeded the 30 day return period. For $40 I expect over three months of usefulness.
