Review on πŸ‘ž Classic STACY ADAMS Sutcliff Loafer Cognac Shoes: Perfect Men's Slip-Ons & Loafers by Gregory Castellanos

Revainrating 2 out of 5

High quality, comfortable, beautiful shoes. Cheap, poorly made buckle assembly.

If it wasn't for the horrible design/construction of the buckle on this shoe I would have given it 5 stars for the price. The "tape" through which the rod for attaching the buckle runs is made of a thin rubber band. When I first tried the shoes on and adjusted the strap to fit, the buckle came loose (both shoes). Trying to thread it back through the elastic was such an ordeal that I cut out the elastic and sewed in a quality leather strap. It probably wouldn't be a big fuss for a professional tanner, but for someone who just knows how to use a needle and thread it was a painstaking ordeal. Again, no problem with the buckle, it's a comfortable, good looking shoe that is true to size, but the buckle arrangement sucks. Spend a little more money for shoes with all leather components.

Pros
  • Perfect fit: size advice. If you choose the larger size between two sizes
Cons
  • Hard to tell
