I'm 36 years old and good at electronics so my problem wasn't a lack of knowledge or skills to connect the controller to the charger. I've used third party charging pads in the past and they all seem a bit cheap. But this was by far the most fragile product I have ever used. The motion control charging pins are just loose and the DS4 charging ports are held in place by a bunch of hot glue that's just really depressing to look at. After using this thing it destroyed the bottom connector for all my PS4 DualShock 4 controllers including my 20th Anniversary Edition controller. They don't charge through the bottom port and my official back button adapter no longer works on any of my controllers. A hard learned lesson. Pay the extra money for something nicer because it's not worth the constant damage and headaches.
