I bought the large size and both of my cats love this. I may need to order another. Small cat is 12.5 pounds, Big Boy is 23 pounds on a HUGE frame - both fit in just fine, one at a time (not together). When I reach in to pet them, they feel just slightly warm, not as warm as I expected. They also have "self-warming" bed pads from Furhaven, which they love - those provide more warmth than this bed, but they love to tuck themselves inside this one. While it provides some warmth, it's not enough for an outdoor kitty who will probably need something with either more insulation, or a heater.
