I love the look. The silicone case really protected the glass from breaking. I love pastels and bright colors! The lid closed well, but not so well after the tab and rim broke. The plastic of the lid is brittle, so it broke easily when the container with the lid fell on a concrete road. .RECOMMENDATION: The material of the lid is the decisive purchase criterion. What if the flat part of the lid was also Pyrex glass and the edges of the frame/holder were heat resistant silicone that snaps onto the edges of the main container? Plastic fasteners are a point of failure. The silicone rim, shaped like a tupperware lid, can grab the container from all sides, it would be better because it won't break.
